I cannot recommend Ashlie & Marc enough! They take wonderful care of my dog Bruce, are extremely communicative and responsive, and always send lots of photos and updates. They treat him as one of their own while he’s there, and I love that they make sure to take him on walks, and make sure he gets lots of outside time in their yard as well. Bruce is always so excited when I drop him off and I can tell he really feels at home with Ashlie, Marc & the beagles!

Being new to owning a puppy is hard.  Who knew that finding someone to care for her, in our absence, as meticulously as we do, would be even harder.  Fortunately for us, Ashlie came highly recommended by my sister in law, who is also a client of Happy Beagle Dog Boarding.  At our scheduled Meet and Greet,  Ashlie was eager to not only meet our pup but  to find out if Betsy would be a good fit with her two beagles, Bella and Billie. Minutes into our meeting we knew that Betsy would be in excellent hands with Ashlie and be in great company with Bella and Billie.  While we were away we received so many wonderful updates and the cutest pictures and videos of our little beauty.  We were able to truly enjoy our time away knowing that Betsy was  in such great hands with Ashlie!  Not only did Happy Beagle Dog Boarding give us peace of mind but it also broke Betsy’s fear of being around other dogs.  Since her time with Ashlie,  she has become incredibly social around other dogs and looks forward to her time at the dog park! Thank you to Ashlie at Happy Beagle Dog Boarding for being such an incredible host to our family’s newest addition!  It was such a wonderful experience.  We look forward to working with you, Bella and Billie over and over again!

WE LOVE ASHLIE, MARC, BELLA AND BILLIE 💕 They took care of our beagle boy Cody in the summer while my husband and I got married. My husband and I own our own dog boarding business in Philly/South Jersey area but we grew up near The Happy Beagle Boarding and wanted Cody to be close. We are very particular about Cody and from working with dogs we know finding the perfect spot is so important. We also had never boarded Cody before, so we know it’s tough leaving your baby for a few days. From the moment I pulled into their driveway for his meet and greet I knew it was the best place for Cody to be. A place where I would be able to put my phone away for the 3 days he was there and just KNOW he was being loved on and cared for.We got updates, we watched Instagram stories and received lots of fun messages saying congratulations and have fun etc. Cody’s smiles in his pictures and playtime he had with Bella and Billie made my heart melt. I can’t thank The Happy Beagle Boarding enough for everything they did for Cody and for all the love and care they give all the dogs in their care. Truly an amazing family with huge hearts and a love for all dogs.

I recently left my 2 dogs ( one of them a senior ) with Ashlie for 5 days. I was a little nervous… these two are my babies! Ashlie sent me daily updates, little videos, lots of pics and reassurance. They really had a wonderful vacation at The Happy Beagle. We will definitely be booking with Ashlie again!

Best dog care I have ever had. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience with Ashlie and Marc was. I left my 9 month old puppy for 16 days. Super long time and a puppy. They were amazing went beyond my expectations. Constant updates and communication. My dog had a little diarrhea and Ashlie made her chicken and rice. They let me pick her up after 9pm because my flight was delayed. I will never send my dog anywhere else. Plan to continue once a week daycare because my dog loves Bella the beagle. Feel so lucky to have found Ashlie and Marc.

We left our dogs with Ashlie while on a week long vacation, and I have never been more relaxed! Our vet recommended told us how fabulous she is, and they were not wrong! Ashlie sent us daily updates, (including a route of their walks!) and clearly took care of our pups as if they were her own. They came back to us so happy-it was a vacation for them too!

I know this is SUPER late of a review, and I apologize for that, but I really wanted to let others know that I HIGHLY recommend Ashlie and Marc to watch your furry children. They quickly responded to our boarding request. We then spoke on the phone and made us feel very comfortable with them. They are very nice! We were happy they arranged a time to have a home visit to come meet them and their fur-babies, Bella and Billie. Their home is clean and welcoming and their home and property are very dog friendly. We LOVED how they sent us pictures every day of our dogs, Maci and Sadie, sometimes a few times a day! It really put our mind at ease that our dogs appeared very happy and relaxed. They were even very understanding and accommodating when we were delayed (it was our son's wedding weekend) with a family event and agreed to let us come later to pick up our dogs. We were very thankful for that. We know our dogs were well taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend Ashlie and Marc to care for your furry family members. They are AWESOME!! Thanks so much Ashlie and Marc for taking such good care of Maci and Sadie!!

Our Basset Hound had his first weekend stay at the HAPPY BEAGLE dog boarding and it was a great experience for all of us!
Ashlie sent the best tidbit videos of our pup which kept us from worry and wondering how he was doing.

I would highly recommend this local service to anyone! Ashlie & her beagles had us feel at home and comfortable since the meet & greet! We needed someone fairly last minute for a 4 night stay, Ashlie immediately opened her home to my 2 fur babies & after the greet I knew this would be perfect for us! During the entire stay she sent pictures and updates (SUPER ADORABLE PICTURES/VIDEOS BTW ) and was just so so pleased! Her entire services, responsibility, demeanor, at home feel is outstanding! Ashlie has been my good friend for years now and she is my ONLY go to for my babies. We have 2 Jack Russell females and they LOVE Aunt Ashlie. She is so attentive and loving and fun and treats every dog like her own! Her social media skills are savage and she is always ready to send photos and updates about your pet's day. She is great with administering any medications, treats and food as directed. And did I mention her beagles Bella and Billie are just so sweet!! Ashlie and her husband are amazing! My dog Sadie stayed with them for the past weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am always nervous leaving my baby, but I knew she was in great hands. Ashlie sent me updates and photos all weekend, and was super easy to get in contact with from day 1. Ashlie and Marc are great! They watched Our 1.5 year old energetic bernedoodle Murphy overnight while we were away and sent lots of updates and pictures making us feel so at ease. Ashlie and Mark did an amazing job watching our two Shih tzu’s. One of ours does have epilepsy and unfortunately had a slight seizure, Ashlie did a great job handling that. They send tons of pictures and videos and we can tell that our dogs really enjoyed their time there this weekend!! Our dogs have always slept in our bed and we were a little concerned, Ashley said no problem, they can sleep with me!! We highly recommend Ashlie and Mark!

Ashlie and Marc were great! This was our first time with a Rover sitter and we couldn't have been happier. I was looking for an alternative to some of the larger/group day boarding sites because my pup kept getting sick when I took her. I really wanted to find someone I could trust and feel good about leaving her with and I definitely found that with Ashlie. Not only was she great with our 11 month old puppy but I also felt like we connected with Ashlie and Marc immediately - super friendly and relaxed and I knew that Riley was in good hands (plus, their pups are adorable!). Would definitely recommend if you're looking for someone to love your pup like you do!

This was the first time that I was leaving my dog with someone I did not know. I was nervous to leave her in a larger boarding establishment because they seemed a bit overwhelming. I found The Happy Beagle Dog Boarding and was happy to see a more personalized and smaller experience. I did the meet and greet and my dog and her dog got along great! There was a large yard and a large inside space for the dogs as well. Ashlie was very positive and reassured me that even though there would be other dogs she would be watching them constantly and if she was taking one dog on a walk the others would be separated until she knew the dogs were friends. It felt like this was exactly what I was looking for! I left my dog for the weekend and not only was my dog happy, but I was too! I got lots of pictures and some personalized messages about how my dog was doing. Ashlie took my dog on walks and spent time outside, which was exactly what I had told her my dog loved. I hit a bit of traffic coming home and Ashlie was very accommodating. I was so happy with The Happy Beagle Dog Boarding that I will be using them again and again. You could tell Ashlie cared about the dogs and was very attentive to their needs.

We were incredibly fortunate to have found Ashlie and Marc.
This was the first separation of more than a few hours for our dog; and she was treated better over those four days than we were at the 4 star hotel we stayed at 3000 miles away. Ashlie and Marc sent us updates, pics and even a few videos several times a day. Murphy may as well have been at a 'health spa' with walks, naps, active play and fellow 4-legged companions.
Would have given more stars -- but 5 is all they allow !

I actually left 3 dogs with Ashley and Marc. I was apprehensive about leaving 2 of the 3 because I've never left them with anyone before. I was pleasantly surprised by my dogs' behavior with Ashley, Marc and their dogs. I got pics throughout the day and the dogs were happy and comfortable. Oreo (my youngest at 1 yr old) even seemed depressed about having to leave Bella the beagle. I also appreciate how close they were from my house (8 min drive). I will definitely use them again.

Buzz had his first sleepover at the Happy Beagle and if he could talk I think he'd say it was the best day and night of his life! Ashlie and Marc were amazing with our pup, Josie! We are first time dog-parents and this was our first time leaving Josie overnight. The meet and greet we had went really well and we knew Josie really enjoyed meeting their own pups, but we were still nervous to leave her! Ashlie and Marc sent us so many cute pictures and updates, and it really helped reassure us that she was in good hands! We left a whole essay of Josie’s schedule and any concerns we had, and they made sure to let us know that everything went well with meal times, bed times, potty times, etc.

Josie loved having playmates (Ashlie and Marc’s two beagles and their two other boarders!), and she came home a happy and tired pup from getting to run and play with her new friends. We will definitely be reaching out in the future when we need to find a dog sitter for Josie! :)

We were looking to board our 1 yr old Standard Poodle for two days. we were anxious as this would be the first time leaving Clove overnight. Until then she has been only to doggy daycares and for a limited amount of hours. Going by reviews we approached Ashlie and Marc and went for a meet and Greet. The minute we met them, we had a great feeling. Ashlie and Marc made us feel comfortable and more importantly Clove was happy. The home was dog friendly and gave ample space for them to roam around. After we left Clove, we got frequent updates and photos. We were very happy with the whole experience and would definitely leave our dog with them whenever we have a need

10 stars for Ashlie and Marcs Happy Beagle Dog Sitting! Our beagle Buzz was comfortable with them and their beagles Bella and Billie at our meet and greet, and today he spent the day with them for day sitting. I honestly think it was one of the best days of his life! He really didn't want to leave. Ashlie was beyond amazing with sending pictures and updates throughout the day. We are so thankful to have found The Happy Beagle! We feel good going away knowing Buzz is safe and having the time of his life.

Our puppy Zorro stayed with Ashlie and Marc for 3 nights while we were travelling. I was bit worried to leave him as he was scared of other dogs. Ashlie and Marc made sure that our puppy was comfortable. I received constant updates and pictures and by the time we came back he was very comfortable around their beagles and another dog they were boarding. They always responded to my texts and calls right away. I am really happy with the service i received and will definitely use them the next time we travel.

Ashlie and Marc were terrific with our pup! They were very considerate of our preferred pickup and drop off times and they sent us regular updates everyday to make us feel comfortable. Their big fenced-in yard and two dogs meant that our pup was happy and well-exercised from all the playing! Your dog is in good hands with them and I highly recommend them.

 Ashlie takes such extra special care of her two dogs, Charlie and Bella, and is an absolutely amazing dog mommy. She frequently pet sits and has no trouble taking care of multiple dogs at once, in fact, she makes it look easy! Ashlie is not only responsible when it comes to animal care, but in her professional life as well (which I find a major plus when entrusting someone with a beloved pet). When she watches my extremely needy Yorkie (Tuckilus Cage star of “The Licker Man”), I never have to worry that he isn’t getting the best love and care possible!
